How to Activate an eSIM on Your Smartphone

Activating an eSIM is a quick and simple process, but if you're doing it for the first time, it helps to follow a step-by-step guide. Here’s how to get your Roam Esim up and running on your device.

Step 1: Check Device Compatibility

Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including iPhones (XR and later), Google Pixels, and newer Samsung Galaxy models. Go to your phone’s settings and search for eSIM or mobile network to verify.

Step 2: Purchase a Plan

Select your destination and data needs from our wide range of eSIM plans. Once payment is complete, you’ll receive a unique QR code instantly via email.

Step 3: Scan & Activate

• Go to your phone’s Mobile Network Settings
• Select Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan
• Scan the provided QR code
• Follow the prompts to activate the profile

Note: Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi during activation.

After setup, you can easily switch between your physical SIM and eSIM profiles, or set your eSIM as the default for data while traveling.
